Biography

Oluwafunke Saka is a Nigerian-born, UK-based multidisciplinary artist working across painting, mixed media, and installation. She holds a master's degree in fine art and previously worked as a pharmacist, bringing precision and intuition to her practice. Her work explores mental health, spirituality, identity, and transformation through merged abstraction and figuration. Recurring motifs include colour tension, thread, and layered forms examining power dynamics — particularly within female experience. She has exhibited across the UK, with works held in private and public collections. Beyond studio practice, she focuses on art's healing and connective capacity through projects centred on care, community, and spiritual renewal.

Her most recent exhibition, "The Quiet Command" (2025), explores strength not in volume, but in vibration — a meditation on restraint, resolve, and grace.
