Artist Statement

My work explores mental health, spirituality, identity, and transformation through merged abstraction and figuration. Recurring motifs — colour tension, thread, and layered forms — examine power dynamics, particularly within female experience. Strength, in this work, is not volume. It is vibration: restraint, resolve, and grace held together on the same surface. Beyond the studio, I am drawn to art’s healing and connective capacity, through projects centred on care, community, and spiritual renewal.
